In an unprecedented decision, St. Kitts and Nevis has signed a  visa waiver agreement with Russia.

Sept. 21,  2017, has been recorded in history as one of the most important days in foreign relations between Russia and St. Kitts & Nevis .

Both countries foreign ministries, Honourable Mark Brantley signed a visa waiver agreement with the H.E. Serguey Lavrov,  Russian federation’s Foreign Minister, such agreement will allow citizens of both St. Kitts and Nevis and Russian to travel for without limitation for up to 90 days to each either  countries without any type of visa requirement.

The Visa-free travel program allows nationals of both countries to travel both in leisure or business, thus increasing the cultural and business exchanges between both nations.  Additionally all the lengthy visa application procedures has therefore been abolished.

Both Ministers from St. Kitts and Nevis and Russia , stated that the reached Visa-free travel agreements demonstrate not only the close ties between the two nations, but a committed and long term partnership as cultural and economic partners.

The government of  St Kitts and Nevis  government has engaged in all its diplomatic capacity and  efforts in strengthening relationships in a cross border manner for the benefit of its citizens.

Today, we can say that St Kitts and Nevis Citizens are eligible to travel (visa free) to over 130 countries, including; the UK, and others like European Schengen countries, Hong Kong, Singapore and now the Republic of Russia.
