Pilgrims from all over the world have filled the visitor centers that operate within the Panama Canal, Miraflores in the Pacific, such as Agua Clara, in the Atlantic Ocean, on the occasion of World Youth Day (WYD).
The largest number of pilgrims, so far, was recorded this Sunday, when an approximate of about 6,000 people entered the visitor centers of the Miraflores locks, thus getting to know the history of the canal, as well as the operation of the road Interoceanic, and Agua Clara, where you could see the crossing of boats through the expanded channel, Gatun Lake and enjoy the tour of the ecological trail.
Pilgrims from, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Jamaica, Colombia, Costa Rica, South Korea, Cuba, France, Guatemala, Ecuador, El Salvador, United States, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela, among others, have visited the Panama Canal during this weekend.
